Our Philosophy
We are real people who grow real food. Our produce is perfectly imperfect, delicious and grown with love. We reject all pesticides and synthetic ingredients because our children are in the garden every day, eating our food straight from the earth.

We love to share our food. We recognize and honor the commitment our members make to us in their weekly support of the farm. We commit to helping them to make the most out of that investment by sharing our experiences, our recipes, and our family story. We hope to inspire other families to join in the happiness that comes from eating locally.

We believe in making good food accessible to everyone. We try to educate our members on how to preserve food in season, how to tend their own gardens, and how to savor our farm products. We donate food to those in need whenever possible.

Family is the heart of our farm: we prioritize our own farm family and the families that we nourish.

Our farm life and family life are inextricably connected, and we wouldn't have it any other way. Our children learn hard work, failure, and the extreme perseverance it takes to grow food and feed families. They also learn generosity, success, and the joy that comes from having tangible accomplishments.

As a farm family, we value working with other local, sustainable businesses, particularly other women-run family farms. We work to inspire the next generation of farmers, gardeners, and local food consumers by encouraging our peers and sharing our hard-earned knowledge.

We surround ourselves with a community of members and farm supporters that value happiness, simplicity, nature, gratitude, and delicious meals.

We choose simplicity, kindness, and beauty each day.
