Fresh Egg CSA Add-On

Our eggs are produced on our farm by our lovely chicken co-workers who help to restore soil health and increase fertility. Our eggs are a mix of medium, large, and extra large brown, white and cream eggs. Beginning this summer, we'll be adding in other colored eggs as well!

We are not certified organic, but we feed local, organic, non-GMO grains and plenty of veggie scraps from the farm, as well as fresh pasture greens to graze on. Our chickens have over 1/4 acre of wooded pasture to forage on. Allowing chickens to forage on pasture gives them a diversity of plants and bugs to eat, which in return makes the eggs you eat taste better and are healthier for you.

All our eggs are washed and refrigerated according to state law, and are ungraded.

State of Vermont required legal disclaimer: “Safe Handling Instructions: To prevent illness from bacteria: keep eggs refrigerated, cook eggs until yolks are firm, and cook foods containing eggs thoroughly. Keep refrigerated at or below 45⁰F.”

Once you sign up and pay the deposit on your CSA, you have secured your place in the CSA program for that season. 

There are no refunds, either full or partial, for cancellation of a CSA once purchased. Members may choose to find an alternate person to buy out the rest of their season’s share, and the share ownership will be transferred to the alternate person, once we, the farm, have been notified in writing. The alternate person is responsible for paying the original shareholder directly.
