Beets (Early Wonder) - Earlier than other beets with small tap roots. Dark-red, round beet with tall tops that are great for greens. 57 days.
Beans, Bush (Blue Lake) - An old time favorite with reliability, great flavor, large yields, and disease resistance. The round pods are dark green, straight and stringless. 60 days. Heirloom.
Beans, Bush (Yellow Wax) - Very productive plants produce flat podded beans that are 5 1/2” long. They have a delicate flavor and can be eaten fresh, canned or frozen. 52 days.
Carrots (Tendersweet) - Sugar sweet, crisp and coreless. Rich orange color is retained during cooking. 72 days.
Cucumbers (Marketmore) - The standard open-pollinated slicing cucumber. Produces 8-9” long, dark green and mild flavored fruits. 65 days.
Eggplant (Black Beauty) - Broad, dark-purple egg-shaped fruits on medium-tall plants. Fruits are best when harvested at 4-6" long. 80 days.
Lettuce (Black Seeded Simpson) - Cut and come again leaf lettuce. An early producer of light green, curled, tender leaves. Heirloom. 35 days.
Pea (Sugar Snap) - Fat 3" pods on tall, 6-8' vines are superb when eaten fresh or cooked. Produces huge crops in both cold and hot weather over a long picking period. 70 days.
Pepper (California Wonder) - Medium-sized, 3 to 4-lobed, blocky, smooth fruits ripen from deep green to red. Thick-walled, 4" x 4" fruits perfect for stuffing. 75 days.
Pepper (Cayenne) - Wrinkled, 2-celled pods mature from green to red. 72 days.
Pepper (Ghost) - Strong, 42" plants produce 3" fruits that ripen from orange to red. Fruits have a rich, smoky-citrus flavor that is 200x hotter than a jalapeno. 90 days.
Pepper (Jalapeno) - Deep-green, sausage-shaped, 3"fruits ripen to red on compact plants. 63 days.
Pumpkin (Small Sugar) - Known for sweet flesh and 4-5lb pumpkins with bright orange, smooth skin and nice handles. Keeps well for pies on Thanksgiving and beyond. 99 days.
Radish (Champion) - Bright red roots and white flesh are perfectly round with a small tap root. Radishes remain crisp, juicy and tender without becoming woody, even when they reach golf-ball size. 28 days.
